After serving in the military I got my first real job and about a year half later, shortly after buying a home and two months from my daughter being born, was laid off. I remember being sick to my stomach, feeling desperate and scared. I decided then I would never let anyone ever have that control over me again. I would never feel that helpless or put my family in that situation.

I got into real estate sales and with hard work and dedication quickly become a top producer in a local real estate office. After three months I was conducting trainings for people that were selling real estate for twenty plus years. People asked me all the time what I was doing to be so successful in a short period of time. The answer is simple, get coaching from the right people and work harder than others. Shortly after, I opened my own real estate brokerage. I did extremely well and then the economy turned and I got crushed.

During this time I discovered the option of working for home. I was attracted to meeting like minded people, travel, residual income, building a global business from anywhere as long as I have a phone and internet. Now I have a business that isn’t tied to a local economy. My business is in multiple countries and I’m able to work from anywhere as long as I have a cell phone and internet service.

There are different kinds of income. Some choose to go to work and get paid. You don’t get paid again unless you go back to work. This is called trading time for money. My residual income is doing the work once and getting paid for that work month after month, year after year. Which makes more sense to you?

My life completely changed from working hard to working smart. I’m making more money and now I actually have more time to do what I would like. I have no stress, travel as I please, and enjoy an incredible lifestyle.
