I graduated from Walsh College of Accountancy & Business Administration where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. While at Walsh, I earned numerous awards and elected for honor society.

I have spent my entire career in the financial services industry specializing in both investments and mortgages. The first 7 years I spent working as a Financial Advisor, the next 5 as a Mortgage Loan Officer, then 2 years as Regional Marketing Director for Hartford Annuities.  I’m currently with Ameriprise Financial where I hold the title of Corporate Registered Principal.

After being laid off from my dream job as Annuity Wholesaler with The Hartford, I quickly realized that like most people I didn’t have a Plan B.  I connected with a former business associate of mine, Christopher Hummel, who re-introduced me to the business of network marketing and I jumped in with both feet.  I decided that while I wasn’t working I should do something, as I didn’t know if or when I’d ever return to work.  The idea of being self-employed always appealed to me, especially after losing my job, but I didn’t have the investment required to start my own business or purchase a franchise.  Network marketing made sense to me because I could start my new business with just a few hundred dollars and virtually no risk.

After 1 year of unemployment, I finally went back to work…but at half the income of my previous job.  This just re-confirmed that my decision to start a home business when I did was the right one because now I was able to supplement the income from my full-time job and replace some of what I had lost.  This also confirmed to me that it doesn’t matter how well we do in school, or how well we perform on the job, if the economy ever goes south nobody is safe.

Since getting involved in network marketing, I have become a student and huge advocate for the industry and am now committed to educating people on why everyone needs a back-up plan and why network marketing is the perfect vehicle to achieve financial independence.  As a Financial Advisor, I could only help people who had money to make more money. Now, I can help people who have little or no money to completely change their lives.  This is an incredible feeling.

Eventually, I was able to recruit my wife Nicole into the business with me.  Previously, she worked as a Veterinary Pharmaceutical Rep but now gets to stay home with our 3 girls while working our home business.  She couldn’t be more thrilled to have the flexibility to work when she wants, not have to answer to a boss, and take care of the girls at the same time.  This truly is the “perfect business”.

With Visionaries Worldwide I now have the ability to impact many more lives, both physically and financially, more than ever before.  I am grateful and proud to be a part of such an incredible group of people and look forward to reaching our ultimate goal of helping 1000 people to achieve financial independence.

In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, boating and watching Detroit Tigers baseball.

I lost 18 lbs in 16 days. To date I’m down 25 lbs and more physically fit than I ever have been. I weigh less now after 3 children. I’m a better mom and wife as a result of these products, this business and my team. I am no longer in an unfulfilling career in golden handcuffs. I wake up every morning looking forward to what the day has to offer and spending time taking care of my family. I’ve grown more with Visionaries than I ever have in my years in corporate America. I’m able to balance caring for my family, home, health as a result of this business and that is the biggest blessings of all.
